Top 5 Interior Design Trends
1. BLACK:
I love black all day long! But certain items will soon date your home because of its trendiness. While a little black is recommended in every room to add drama and interest, be careful you don’t take this one too far. Some argue that windows and some fixtures, such as faucets and cabinet hardware, will date your home in years to come due to its trendiness today. If you are someone who lives with your updates for 10 years or more, I would think twice about using this or any trend in your décor and stick to classic and timeless elements.
2. WALLPAPER:
Wallpaper is going strong and a personal favorite! If you want to transform a room in a hurry, wallpaper is the way to do it.
3. COLOR:
White walls and white kitchens have been a fan favorite in the recent past. Today color is all the rage. Are you bold enough for bright color?
4. CURVY FURNISHING:
Not only are arches back but curved furnishings are also going strong.
5. ZELLIGE TILES:
These tiles have been a favorite for a few years, they add texture and character to any space. You can find them in several shapes and colors too. The sky is the limit. Use them on walls, showers, floors, and vanities too. Where is your favorite place to use these beauties?
