Hi!  I’m Melissa – Melissa Clark Interiors (MCI)

Welcome, welcome to all things interior design, organization, and the freedom and comfort that both bring to your life. Interior design has been a lifelong passion. I’ve been decorating and redecorating my home and the homes of others for quite some time. With a methodical mind and love for beauty and comfort, I help engineers and tech savvy people achieve their design goals.

Prior to having children, I was a project manager at Dell Computers. When my youngest started kindergarten I started an organizing business and pursued a certification in interior design. With a need to know what I did not know, I continued learning from the best. I pursued the following certifications to round out my interior design repertoire: color, kitchen and bath design, Essentials of Building, living in place professional and Chief Architect software to execute plans. Understanding of the essentials of design and clients’ needs and goals helps me create tailor-made designs.

What does home mean to you? It can mean so many things to different people, but the common thread is comfort.  When the outside world is noisy and chaotic, home is a place to recharge, relax, where you get to be you. Helping you create a home that is a reflection of you is my passion. There is no place better than home! Vacation can be fun and exciting, but home is for every day. A well-designed home can change the way you see the world and inspire you to live your best. Shouldn’t home be as good as or better than vacation? While you might not be able to change the setting of your home, you can make the inside a reflection of what you want your best life to be, one that instigates every day memorable moments.   

I am passionate about interior design and organization. The two lay the foundation for a beautiful and functional home. While new to communicating my passion for a beautiful way of living, creating homes that are rooted in comfort and style is not.
